This May, we were proud to support Time for a Cuppa 2025, Dementia UK’s biggest fundraising event of the year.

Our Time for a Cuppa event took place at our Ipswich office on Wednesday 8th May. From 10am until 1pm, we welcomed friends, colleagues and members of our local community for a morning filled with cake, cuppas, laughter and a few fun office games.

Everyone came together to enjoy a warm drink, a slice of something sweet and a chat, all while raising money for an important cause. Our Time for a Cuppa 2025 fundraiser supported Dementia UK and the incredible work of their Admiral Nurses, who provide specialist support to families living with dementia.

Why We Took Part in Time for a Cuppa 💜

Taking part in Time for a Cuppa gave us the opportunity to bring people together while supporting a cause that means a lot to us.

Dementia can have a huge impact on individuals and their families. Alongside a diagnosis, families can face uncertainty, questions and worries about what happens next.

This is where Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses play such an important role. They provide specialist advice, guidance and practical support to families living with dementia, helping them through the challenges they may face.

At Fuchsia Homecare, we see every day how important the right support can be. We believe people and their families should feel listened to, supported and never alone when they need help.

That’s why we were so proud to support Time for a Cuppa 2025 and help raise money for Dementia UK.

Our Time for a Cuppa Event Raised £399! 🙌

We’re delighted to share that our Time for a Cuppa event raised an amazing £399!

Our original fundraising target was £250, so raising almost £150 more than we had hoped for was fantastic.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us get there. From those who came along for a cuppa and a piece of cake, to those who joined in with our games or made a donation, every contribution helped make our Time for a Cuppa 2025 fundraiser a success.

The money raised will help Dementia UK continue providing specialist support and guidance to families living with dementia through their Admiral Nurses.

What made our Time for a Cuppa event so special was seeing everyone come together, have a laugh and support such an important cause.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our fundraiser and helped us reach £399. It was a brilliant morning, and it just goes to show what can happen when people come together for something that matters.
